Studying math is different than how you study for the other subjects.
To study math, you have to PRACTICE math problems! The more problems you practice, the better you’ll get. Look in your math binder for practice problems (notes and classwork) or go online and find practice problems.
To be successful in math:
1. You have to practice every day.
2. Take notes.
3. Study more than just the night before.
4. Ask questions in class.
5. Do all of the homework. Don’t ever think of homework as a choice.
6. Analyze and understand every mistake.
7. Fight not to miss class.
8.Spend about 30 minutes a day reworking problems from previous practice problems, notes, problems done in class, or homework problems.
If you aren’t willing to be actively involved in the process of learning mathematics, you will have trouble passing any math class.
“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail” — Benjamin Franklin
